Simply forgetting to clean your gutters and downpipes can lead to serious damage to your property. The consequences can become very expensive and inconvenient, from mould and dampness to severe leaks. That’s why investing in a professional gutter cleaning service in Kent is crucial to safeguarding your home.
Here at Flush Drainage, we understand the importance of keeping gutters clean and clear. Our team goes the extra mile to ensure every inch of your gutters and downpipes are thoroughly cleared through, completing a flow test after every clean.
As an established drainage company, working with pipework and blockages daily, cleaning out guttering and downpipes is right up our street. Whereas other contractors, such as window cleaners may have the ladders and equipment to clear your top lengths of guttering, it’s very unlikely that they have the equipment to clear the tougher blockages from your downpipes and galleys. With our expertise, you can be reassured that your property will be leak-free and damp-proof. For this reason, we offer an eight-week unblock guarantee with all our gutter and down-pipe unblocking services.
Don’t let broken or blocked gutters compromise your property. Contact us today for professional gutter cleaning services you can rely on.

As with most services, the price will vary depending on the extent of the task required. The more guttering there is to clean, and the more blocked up it is the higher the price will be. Based on averages, we have created a guide below of what you could expect to pay for gutter and downpipe cleaning.
2-bedroom house: £90
3-bedroom semi: £120
4 bedrooms detached: £150
5+ bedroom detached: £180+
We use a variety of methods to clean guttering. The most important factor which will determine which method we choose will be access. If the property has rather high gutters, lean-to roofs, or a conservatory it is more than likely that your gutters and down-pipe cleaning will be carried out using a machine known as a gutter vacuum. This machine is a 3600-watt vacuum, using telescopic poles and different size attachments to enter any gutter. Once the machine is switched on, the debris will be sucked from the guttering into the barrel on the machine, providing a mess-free service and clear gutters. Gutter vacuum cleaning is the preferred option due to safety, and therefore your most cost-effective solution.
For those gutters with easy access or for those seriously blocked up with debris and leaves, we opt to use ladders or an appropriate access platform, whether that’s a cherry picker or scaffold platform. In this case, the debris is removed by hand and handheld gutter and down-pipe cleaning tools. The debris is put into a bucket or bag and safely disposed of by one of our licensed waste carriers.
Finally, to clear the toughest of blockages, particularly those within the downpipes, we use high-pressure jetting equipment. These backwards-facing jets pull the debris out of the pipe, leaving the pipes fully cleared. For reassurance, we have the option of inserting a CCTV drain camera to show you the pipes are fully cleared.
